As part of the Business Intelligence team, the Business Intelligence Knowledge Management Analyst will help create the foundation of global knowledge management and data sourcing for Indigo. This role will be hands-on, working collaboratively and cross-functionally to gather BI data sourcing requirements for company needs, finding, analyzing, and deriving new international data sets, and working with the team to ensure accurate integration in our data warehouse and the creation of access and thorough documentation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data at IndigoAg is centralized in a single repository, in this role you will be responsible for:
    • Documenting data sets to provide resources for individuals interested in the data
    • Working across different countries to establish data requirements
    • Sourcing new data sets when required by stakeholders
  • Looker is the core BI platform amongst other tools, this role will have you interacting with Looker to:
    • Build visualizations and reporting for the KM function
    • Work with the BI Enablement team to identify, catalog, and summarize all current Looker insights/dashboards
    • Use SQL to explore data sets and develop a thorough understanding which can then be documented and shared with the rest of the organization
    • Evaluate new data sources
    • Work with the broader Data Innovation team to develop new derived data
  • Special Projects:
    • Brazilian warehouse data
      • Work with Brazil lead to identify process of data creation
      • Work with BI teams to integrate into the data warehouse
      • Ensure documentation is timely and accurate

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
