2019 Software Engineer Intern - Sensor Processing

This summer, we are looking for enthusiastic Software Developer Interns for our Sensing, Perception, and Applied Robotics division. We are seeking students with an interest in innovative technology with interest in embedded sensor processing.
You will be working in a small agile group, to deliver, test and ship software and learn the ropes to being a contributing member of a research and development team. Our interns contribute to real projects and get a sense of what it will be like to be a full-time Software Engineer.
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship and an interest in working in Defense
- Some expertise in C++, MATLAB and a solid background in designing, programming, and documenting complex software systems
- Familiar Git version control and Linux commands
- Interest in learning new programming languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript), technologies (SQL, TensorFlow, RabbitMQ), and IDEs
Additional Skills:
- Classification algorithms
- Autonomous systems (e.g. UUVs, UASs, UGSs)
- Robot Operating System (ROS)
