About The Role


The Financial Planning & Analysis team at Immuta is dedicated to forecasting, financial reporting, and enabling budget execution and optimization of a high-growth SaaS company. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of FP&A, your goal will be to analyze the business in order to maximize revenue and profit while helping with hiring, budget management, financial reporting, and many other projects along the way. This is a hands-on role as an FP&A Analyst. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization, working closely with finance/accounting colleagues, recruiting, and partnering with key executives. Your proven experience and track record in FP&A will provide a basis for your success on the finance team at Immuta.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Support teams in developing the annual business plan and quarterly forecast updates by providing required data trends, reports and insights for the various department’s functions and regions.
  • Assist with forecasts, monthly BvA’s, actuals vs plan deep dives, competitor analysis, etc.
  • Track and manage efficiency metrics, including CAC, CAC payback, sales funnel performance, LTV, and contribution margins.
  • Build trusted relationships with key business partners, establishing trust and gaining an understanding of relevant business drivers
  • Work cross-functionally with Accounting, and other business partners as necessary, to ensure alignment and expense accuracy.
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and manage interdependencies on other company processes to meet work deadlines
  • Assist in formulating the company’s future direction by providing input on the company’s business plan, financial strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Be a strong business partner by leading with data to influence the direction of the company, inform leadership, and support the Finance team
  • Evaluate existing business processes and provide recommendations for improvement and efficiency
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed, including but not limited to quarterly board materials and scenario modeling, and partner with corporate development in acquisition modeling

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2–4 years experience in a high-growth SaaS company, investment banking, consulting, or related fields 
  • Financial Modeling with a focus on the SaaS category: the ability to build bottoms-up financial models to plan, measure and forecast the business. Your models are accurate and conform to best practices (formatting, flexibility, layout, etc.)
  • Strong ability to distill complex conclusions and concepts into easily digestible takeaways
  • Continuous improvement attitude; ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices
  • Team player: this role will interact with multiple finance team members and departments throughout the company
  • Ready and eager to build processes, systems, and analyses from scratch
  • Experience operating with a degree of autonomy

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in and experience with macOS and G-Workspace (particularly Google Sheets)
  • Experience with Netsuite and Adaptive
