Senior Financial Analyst

Mirakl has grown its headcount by 200% in the last two years and will continue to bring onboard the best and brightest in 2019 and beyond. By 2020, Gartner predicts that over 50% of all online sellers will adopt marketplaces or include third-party sales in their eCommerce ecosystems. To support this rapid adoption of the marketplace model and further accelerate our growth, Mirakl is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for the Americas.
Working as the first finance team member in the US, you will be charged with growing the division and practices within finance for the Americas. You will report directly into the VP of Finance based in Paris and will be required to work effectively in a cross-functional and cross-border capacity. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Financial planning & analysis:
- Headcount and OpEx planning and reporting for the Americas
- Management of Marketing Budget
- Participation in the preparation of Business Review decks
Coordination with Accounting:
- Managing month-end closing processes with Accounting, including Sales commission calculations for Americas, control of invoicing, and cash collection
- Managing bank operations in the US, including checks deposit & documentation of credit cards expenses.
Other Responsibilities:
- Anticipate and support the continuous improvement of our processes and tools in creating solutions that scale
- Executing ad-hoc analysis and providing thoughtful business insights
- Ensuring a high level of financial standards are followed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a top tier financial services or consultancy firm
- Bachelor’s required, Master’s degree a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Relevant finance experience in a corporate environment
- Financial modeling and analysis skills
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and exceed expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Affinity for the technology sector and disruptive business models
- Effective and proactive communicator
- Previous experience in a top tier financial services or consultancy firm
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous Experience in a top tier financial services or consultancy firm
- Fluency in French
