We are seeking a Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. This individual will serve as a key member of the financial leadership team reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This is a newly created position to support the growth of the business and the team. and will be empowered to design & implement new processes and management reporting capabilities new processes and create deep linkages between FP&A and the entire organization to drive insightful business decisions and analysis.

What you’ll be doing here

  • Budgeting & planning: Lead and evolve the annual operating budget process, track and report on performance relative to plan, and manage ongoing rolling forecast updates. Improve operating teams’ understanding of financial statements and budget adherence with thoughtful and transparent analysis and partnership
  • Long-range planning: Own the company’s long-range financial modeling process to enable decision-making on long-term initiatives
  • Real-time reporting: Establish, track and monitor key operating metrics used to drive the business to greater efficiency. Maintain and enhance the efficiency of internal financial reporting processes, serving as a thought leader to upgrade reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process improvement
  • Ad-hoc decision support: Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency and maximize ROI
  • Deep business partnership: Collaborate with operating teams and provide fact-based recommendations that support revenue growth targets and improve profitability, operating efficiency and effectiveness
  • Board & other external stakeholder communications: Assist in preparation of materials for Board of Director meetings
  • Finance team building: Partner with the CFO & SVP of Finance to shape the growth of the finance team over time to keep pace with the rapid growth of the business

About you and your skills

  • You have 12-15 years of experience in finance and strategic analysis in an operational FP&A role and, preferably, time in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity
  • You are highly proficient in financial analysis and model building
  • You are motivated by working in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving, high-performance, collegial environment where your work is visible and you are constantly getting feedback on your performance. You treat people with respect and are comfortable with radical candor. You have a sense of humor
