The Senior Associate, Strategic Finance is a role that carries significant responsibility for managing and executing our strategic finance initiatives across financial operations, analysis, and organizational  strategy.  

This role will report to the head of finance and will work closely with the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will be an operational and analytical partner across the  business. They will develop and implement best-in-class financial and operational planning along with supporting investor relations and capital raising. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that is critical to supporting the continued growth and expansion of 2020 On-site as we double over the next 12 months.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across the company to enable and leverage ROI-driven decision making;
  • Solve complex business problems through the use of analytics and business judgement;
  • Manage annual budget and planning. Establish tools and timelines to ensure budgets are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Execute monthly financial reviews providing key insights to senior leadership;
  • Assist in due diligence efforts and analysis for fundraising and potential corporate development opportunities;
  • Research and evaluate various markets US markets to inform business expansion opportunities;
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including investors, accountants/auditors, and legal counsel; 
  • Prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Manage accounting, tax & legal vendors; 
  • Assist in optimizing Insurance collections;

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 
  • Investment banking, consulting, public accounting, and/or fast-paced corporate finance/FP&A experience strongly preferred;
  • Outstanding analytical skills and financial modeling acumen required;
  • Quick thinker with ability to make and support big decisions;
  • Experience regularly reporting / presenting to executives highly valued;
  • Extremely diligent, exhibiting rigorous attention to detail;
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data to identify key business trends;
