Smart Sense: Procurement Specialist
The purpose of this position is to manage various aspects of the procurement function for Smart Sense including systems management, sourcing, vendor due diligence, proposal analysis, negotiations, reporting and managing internal client relationships.
Provides guidance and assistance on all Procurement related policies and procedures as they relate to system tools
Maintains a relationship with key internal customers, analyses and understands their requirements, and provides support and advice
Provides guidance and assistance on all Procurement related policies and procedures
Manages ERP internal audits
Assists with the daily support functions for procurement processes and systems
Inventory management - The goal is to ensure safety stock, correct ordering and maintain high quality as well as helping reduce the parts prices.
The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree with Business focus
The person will need to fully understand:
- 0-2 years of Experience in Supply Chain management
- 0-2 years of Experience using Financial Accounting Principles
- Product Life Cycle
- Basic comprehension of Cloud base hardware functionalities and components
- Quick ability to learn complex business workflow
- Ability to analyze and suggest improvements of processes
- Understanding of logistic challenges, laws and rules linked to it
- Able to prioritize its workload
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to communicate succinctly and quickly via email, phone and tele-conference
- Great Attention to detail
