Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is a strategic and tactical component to our Finance team, responsibility for oversight and management of all invoices and vendor payments.

 Job Description: 

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval for payment
• Enter invoices into company's ERP System
• Payment of vendor invoices
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• 1099 tax filings
• Sales and use tax calculation
• Value Added Tax (VAT) reporting for international vendor invoices
• Assist in month end close process
• Ownership of American Express/Concur Travel program
• On-boarding of new employees to expense reporting platform

• Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
• Champion continuous improvement efforts including business process optimization 
• Ability to communicate with management and employees at all levels of the organization
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive data at all times 
• High level of interpersonal, communicational, organizational and problem-solving skills are necessary with special focus on priority setting, customer service orientation skills and attention to detail.

Required Education/Experience: 

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite, Concur or Expensify a plus
