Accounting & Operations Specialist

AdmitHub is seeking their first Accounting and Operations Specialist to join a growing Business Operations team.
In this role you will work closely with our Accounting Manager to ensure payroll processing, benefits administration and office management activities are owned, executed flawlessly and drive engagement, excitement and appreciation from our growing employee base. Ensuring we have an environment of support, and that we are using data to execute on projects and tasks. Working alongside the Accounting Manager you will be exposed to an environment of deep learning in Accounting.

What You'll Do
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Own and operate all aspects of payroll administration including:
- Preparing and running semi-monthly payroll including all change management activities such as new hires, terminations, benefit changes, bonus & commission payouts and more
- Post changes in pay and tax status and voluntary deductions in payroll system and payroll worksheet
- Prepare semi-monthly payroll calculations
- Prepare ad hoc and monthly reports as needed by Accounting, People Ops or Management
- Provide deep administrative support for all benefits management including:
- Educating and enrolling new hires and current employees during life events
- Monthly benefit invoice reconciliation and posting
- Support during annual Open Enrollment
- Create accurate and timely documentation including employee facing education, financial audits and more
Office Management
- Own all aspects of our in office and remote needs as related to the general maintenance, support and enhancement of our environments.
- Manage vendor and building relationships
- Provide general equipment support for all employees including new hire equipment ordering
Accounting Assistant
- Provide general daily support to the Accounting Department while learning the function. Including;
- Enter payables into QBO
- Assisting with billing and account receivables functions
- Assisting with month end close and audits if / as needed
- Ad hoc projects as needed such as balance sheet reconciliations
What You'll Have
- 4+ years of experience with direct experience in a similar role a plus

- Experience with QBO and Excel a plus
