Event Marketing Manager

Mirakl has grown its headcount by 200% in the past two years and will continue to bring onboard the best and brightest in 2019 and beyond. By 2020, Gartner predicts that over 50% of all online sellers will adopt marketplaces or include third-party sales in their eCommerce ecosystems. To support this rapid adoption of the marketplace model and further accelerate our growth, Mirakl is looking for an Event Marketing Manager.
The Event Marketing Manager will support our Americas region to develop and execute corporate events. Mirakl’s corporate events and formats include the Americas Mirakl Platform & Marketplace Summit and selected events across our core industries. This person will collaborate closely with the executive team, sales, product, and alliances teams. They will be responsible for:
- Managing a diverse range of corporate events with concentration in sponsorships and conferences
- Acting as project manager for Mirakl’s major US event, the Mirakl Platform and Marketplace Summit in Boston
- Event execution logistics – venue selection and negotiation, vendors, internal creative/design teams, deliverables, logistics and operations
- Creating and managing event calendar, budgets, project plans and pre and post event processes
- Researching, evaluating, and making recommendations for event sponsorships
- Conduct pre and post event meetings that communicate objectives and prepares staff for events
- Closely collaborate with the field marketing manager/partner marketing manager to plan local field events around corporate events
- Closely collaborate with the content team to determine the right messaging and content at Mirakl events including printed collateral and digital programs
- Craft event support campaign materials including: email campaigns, landing pages, social media
- Responsible for event marketing campaign setup and operations including: Salesforce, Wordpress & Hubspot
- Track and measure event marketing effectiveness and ROI
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in corporate events, preferably in a high tech environment
- Proven success in event and project management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask under tight deadlines
- Detail oriented individual that takes initiative to define and improve processes
- Strong Communication Skills for Executive Alignment and global team alignment.
- Working knowledge of Hubspot, Wordpress, & Salesforce
- Experience with marketing reporting
- Ability to travel when necessary; Periodic international travel required (Paris)
