Paint Nite is seeking a dynamic, energetic and thoughtful Director of Product Management & Site Experience to drive the strategy for our consumers’ online experience. Leading a team of two Product Managers, and two UI Designers, the Director of Product Management & Site Experience will oversee the development of the strategies, business cases, product definitions, designs, content, and implementation of all site functionality. This role would encompass all aspects of our web-based platform, which is where more than one million users on the customer side, and thousands of users on the event creation side ever month. Our product is currently being supported by our extremely efficient technical team, but are now looking for an experienced Product Director who can bridge the gap between the technical capabilities of our engineers, and strategic vision of our Brand, to bring the consumer value proposition to life by identifying our target consumers and engaging them with products that speak to them.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of web-based product management for a progressive online business, and will have a strong understanding of consumer behavior and user experience as it relates to our product. This individual will work collaboratively with Leadership and our Marketing Team to understand the vision of the Company, and will effectively communicate the strategic direction to our Developers.

You will:

  • Communicate the consumer product vision and goals to drive growth, define the go-to market strategies to win in targeted customer segments and drive business value.
  • Create and prioritize a comprehensive end-to-end product life cycle and an online product road map/communication strategy for our consumer product lines that will inspire and motivate the entire organization to move in the same direction.
  • Work with engineering, marketing, sales and the senior leadership team to set objectives and priorities. Work closely with user experience, data analytics, marketing, and engineering to bring product ideas to life
  • Identify opportunities, develop user stories, and test plans for product concepts
  • Innovate consumer features and functionality and work with marketing on go-to-market process
  • Lead, develop and motivate a team of product managers and designers to create a world-class user experience (desktop/mobile/tablet).
  • Monitoring the competitive landscape, identifying and leading relevant market, site and consumer research needs.

You have:

  • At least 10 years consumer product development experience: product planning, customer journey, product discovery and product development.
  • 5+ years designing online consumer experiences/products.
  • 5+ years in a product leadership role for an online business.
  • A proven track record of development/execution of tactical plans and delivering successful products
  • Experience providing effective counsel to C-level executives
  • Strong business acumen; ability to see the big picture and the ability to understand and solve for strategic objectives
  • The ability to generate hypothesizes, create test programs and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into logical and actionable conclusions
  • The ability to easily communicate complex concepts across the organization
  • The ability to excel in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
  • Strong organization skills and capable of handling multiple critical projects at a time

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
