User Experience Designer

Location: Cambridge

Reporting to: Creative Director

Job Summary:

iZotope is looking for an experienced User Experience Designer to join our growing Design team. The successful candidate will drive the user experience of iZotope’s award-winning music production software products.

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Creative Director, the UX Designer will be a key member of the Design team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management departments to design delightful user experiences for our core music and post production software. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting interviews to understand how users interact with sound editing software and the challenges that they encounter
• Creating wireframes for the interfaces that are clear and easy to use
• Validate design ideas with users
• Collaborating with other designers to ensure cohesive experiences across all of iZotope's product lines

Professional Qualifications:

• 3+ years of UX design experience
• Experience designing for desktop and/or Web, mobile apps and a great portfolio that showcases your process
• Familiarity with Sketch, inVision, Balsamiq and other prototyping tools[1] 
• Familiarity with HTML & CSS (Swift a plus)
• Knowledge of UX best practices
• Experience in music production (post-production a plus)

This opportunity is a full-time position located based in our Cambridge, MA office location.
