At PrismHR, your role will be to develop amazing user experiences for the Human Resources space, helping transform the way small businesses and employees interact with Benefits, Payroll and Administrative functions. SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the voice of the user throughout the development life cycle
• Assist Product Managers in identifying, capturing and refining user stories and workflows
• Lead cross-functional teams in collaborative design sessions
• Translate concepts into wireframes and clickable prototypes  
• Validate designs with users as part of an iterative design process
• Help define the visual identity of new products
• Identify design problems and usability issues and propose elegant solutions
• Enforce user-centered design best practices while developing standards
• Contribute to the growth and development of our Creative Center

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction, Communication Design or relevant discipline
• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Direct experience designing SaaS applications
• Exceptional design skills
• Fluency in one or more prototyping tools such as Balsamiq, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision
• Ability to give and receive feedback in a collaborative environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Online portfolio demonstrating research, analysis and design skills

DESIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

• Advanced degree or training in Human Factors or Human Computer Interaction
• Familiarity with Lean UX in an Agile environment
• Understanding of Bootstrap, Kendo UI, Angular and responsive design
• Experience facilitating Usability Tests  
• Experience with HR, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, or other Human Capital Management systems
