Lovepop is on a mission is to help people do something awesome for someone they care about. Lovepop is looking for a brilliant UI designer to join our product team. In this role, you'll be working closely with an embedded product, UX and engineering organization to make digital ecommerce and customization experiences that rival the delight of our amazing product.

What you'll do here:

• Collaborate closely with the product development team to define and develop the visual experience of Lovepop software products in an agile environment
• Create and maintain the design “system” we can use to build a cohesive aesthetic across all the digital interactions users have with our product
• Interpret experience insights and constantly work to reduce friction in our products
• Work closely with other illustrators, 3D engineers, and UX to help evolve the brand, and product line and experiences in a unified way

What you'll bring to the table:

• Someone who always has the user in the forefront of their mind. Visual design is a huge part of what makes Lovepop amazing, but understanding who we’re designing is always where we should start
• Strong understanding of typography, IA, and color theory
• Understanding of working within constraints compensating for an evolving product
• Great communication skills and can effectively support your decision making for your designs
• Prior experience working with UX teams to test, validate, and ship the right solutions

You'll be great if you have:

• 2-4 years of experience working in a similar role at a consumer facing, design centric orginization.
• A history working within an agile/lean environment
• A talent for being scrappy and figuring out problems without explicit guidelines
• Experience building actionable brand standards that enable teams to work quickly and with autonomy
• Experience designing for mobile experiences and with animations
