We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our new and developing in-house creative team. In this role you will report into the Art Director and work collaboratively with other in-house designers and creative folks including our Video Studio and agencies to evolve and increase brand awareness. With a storytelling first lens, you’ll be at the forefront of some of our top objectives, including creating promotional materials, launching new products, making investor presentations and trade show booths while staying-up-to-date with contemporary culture and design trends.

What will you own?

  • Collaborate with in-house and agency designers to enhance our brand while upholding our existing brand identity and aesthetic.
  • Design and execute engaging promotional and editorial materials for our website, emails, banners, and paid media from ideation through implementation.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to create company-wide graphics, presentations, and decks.
  • Communicate across various departments of the company while managing projects effectively.
  • Organize and maintain company media assets.
  • Research and stay up to date on ever-changing culture and design trends.

Important Note: Although we list out what we generally look for, we are very likely missing other attributes and skills that you have that could make you a great fit, but are not currently listed. Research has shown this especially applies to women and other marginalized groups, who tend to apply if they check 100% of every box, versus men who apply if they hit roughly 60%. The point we’re getting at, it doesn’t hurt to take a chance and apply!

What you have:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on-experience graphic design experience creating digital and print assets
  • A diverse portfolio of work that demonstrates experience in web, events, advertising, and social.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Sketch, and other related programs to create assets and animations.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a rapidly growing team.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • We use Apple computers and Google collaboration tools. While experience with these tools is not required, the ideal candidate will be excited to broaden their knowledge and embrace change.
