Overview
Trellis is looking for a Brand Designer to join our growing team. This individual is a great communicator and passionate detail-oriented designer with entry-level experience in illustration, graphic design, and marketing asset creation. This is a junior position that allows you a chance to expand your skillset and experience working on a variety of design projects.
Trellis is a fast-growing eCommerce agency that is also building a combination of products to complement our agency services. Trellis is a young company that has extremely high expectations of all employees and future growth as a company. As a technology startup in the Boston area, we are looking for a candidate that wants to become a long-term part of an up and coming company with high valuation potential. Position Responsibilities
This individual will be working closely with both the design and marketing teams, bringing design insight and creativity to each client project. Although the specific responsibilities will evolve as the candidate gains experience, we’re looking for someone capable of the following:
- UX/UI Design
- Illustration
- Image curation and manipulation
- Creation of brand books and style guides
- Marketing campaign ad creation for various platforms
- Management of existing Trellis brand assets and documentation
Technical Experience
Given our focus on technology, experience in a variety of software is essential to success in this role. Most notable technologies include:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Figma
- Sketch
- WordPress
- Google Web Designer
- Google Docs and Slides
Minimum Requirements
- Entry-level experience (1 - 2 years)
- BA in Art or equivalent degree
- Available 20hr per week from 10-6 pm ET Monday thru Friday
- Ability to work remotely
