We are looking for a highly-experienced Director of UX to define, grow, and lead our UX function into and through our next phase of growth.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Develop deep contextual understanding of our customers, our users, and their needs.

• Lead, develop,and grow a team of highly talented UX Designers and embrace a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.

• Be hands on when needed - teach by showing and doing in addition to describing and telling.

• Reinforce a foundational culture of collaboration in all directions - within the UX Team, with cross-functional stakeholder groups (Customer Success, Sales, Technical Support, etc), and with Executive Leadership.

• Embrace our culture of radical transparency to consistently reinforce the impact that your UX function has on our customers and our business.

• Appreciate and welcome opportunities to involve external stakeholders in design work.

• Exhibit explicit pragmatism in design - find ways to improve how we execute design and work with others.

• Implicitly understand how to find that magical balance between powerful enterprise SaaS applications and elegant user experience design.

• Amplify the voice of UX at CloudHealth and raise the DesignIQ across the company

You Have:

• 10+ years experience in a technology company, preferably delivering sophisticated SaaS applications

• Ability to influence and work collaboratively with people in all roles/teams

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads

• Attention to detail and excellent listening/speaking skills

• Strong verbal/written communication skills

• Strong technical skills that enable you to engage productively with technical teams

• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or other major public cloud a strong plus

• High degree of comfort with complex technical environments

• Ability to apply logical thinking to solving operational problems

• Bias towards action and outcomes and avoid ideological debate as much as possible
