As Brand & Creative Director you will define a brand strategy that resonates with our target market and communicates our unique vision and thinking through all marketing initiatives and content. Fusing business, brand, marketing, and technology strategies, you will create, develop and police a powerful 360-degree brand expression that communicates DataRobot's unique story and vision across all mediums, channels, and ecosystems. This management position requires a creative genius, out of the box thinker and a proven track record of articulating a disruptive vision across multiple brand initiatives. You will be measured on brand awareness and cost of lead acquisition through all channels.

Candidates will have passion, a strong grasp of current digital strategies, brand development experience gained in a B2B software environment and proven team leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the CEO and VP Marketing to understand company vision and how this is communicated to our market.
  • Define and own brand strategy as communicated through web, advertising, video
  • Analyze how current brand is positioned in the market and derive targeted consumers insights.
  • Define the brand in terms of vision, mission, goals and strategies to communicate.
  • Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market campaign.
  • Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted population to “take action.”
  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates.
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
  • Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product strategy.
  • Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics.
  • Design, build and maintain DataRobot social media presence.

Skills

  • Currently employed as a Brand Director with 5+ years experience
  • Practical experience of digital advertising, market research, consumer behavior and marketing analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Comfort with CRM software
  • In-depth understanding of the B2B enterprise software buying process
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Experience managing agencies
