EnerNOC, An Enel Group Company, is a leading provider of energy intelligence software (EIS). There is a need for a Data Operations Intern to join our world-class Operations organization. The mission of the Data Operations team is to provide support and expertise to strategically improve EnerNOC’s data health. The team is responsible for validating and monitoring the data of all customers for the purpose of all EnerNOC product offerings. For demand response, EnerNOC is compensated and in turn compensates our customers based on whether they curtailed their energy use during a dispatch in line with their target curtailment. Additional software offerings, such as persistent monitoring and alerting, help customers save money through insights into avoidable usage and peak demand charges. EnerNOC uses interval meter data to quantify performance and savings; it is a critical input to our solutions.

As a Data Operations Intern, you will demonstrate curiosity, creativity, and initiative to help process data quality cases and ensure EnerNOC has accurate data to onboard a new customer, maintain the data health, settle demand response events, and provide insight for our software customers. You will become an expert in EnerNOC’s core support and operational processes and will develop a deep understanding of the issues surrounding accurate metering solutions, load curtailment, and demand response programs across the nation.
