Position Summary:
The Copy Editor will manage all editing from multiple internal and external sources. The role will report to the Sr. Director in Marketing working with Netcracker's global employee base.
Responsibilities:
- Edit Marketing deliverables for use online and offline -- articles, blog posts, landing pages, whitepapers, press releases, newsletters, emails, case studies and presentations.
- Serve as peer editor for works created by others in the organization.
- Analyze competitor communications to ensure we are emphasizing our points of differentiation.
- Maintain the Netcracker voice while writing/editing.
- Write ad hoc copy for social media posts.
- Incorporate SEO, tags organically and purposefully
Experience & Requirements:
- A minimum of 2- 3 years in corporate communications and a strong familiarity with the telecom industry and technologies.
- Proven ability to understand integrated marketing strategy and write/edit effective copy to support that strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail in a high-volume, active, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-directed and collaborative -- ability to work autonomously and as part of a team as need.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines, while maintaining unified voice.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications or other related field.
