Description

You're invited to brunchwork with Anjula Acharia (Priyanka Chopra's manager) and Precursor Ventures Managing Partner Charles Hudson.

Anjula Acharia was born and raised in London. A child of Punjabi immigrants, Anjula grew up in an area that lacked South Asian representation — making her an easy target of bullying. Being different gave her power to work harder to be in a position of leadership and to implement change. She is a mentor to female founders and an investor, champion and advisor to female owned startups with two multi-billion dollar investments: ClassPass and Bumble. Her portfolio also includes The Muse, Hooked, Cue, Thrive Causemetics, Health-Ade Kombucha, Skinny Dipped, Mayvenn, Yumi, Bulletproof Coffee, FounderMade, Gobble, Pop & Bottle and The Well.

Her first entrepreneurial endeavor was DesiHits, an entertainment company which made her a pioneer in merging global cultures with the introduction of artists like Lady Gaga and Britney Spears to India. Anjula is also the visionary behind the successful celebrity crossover of Priyanka Chopra from Bollywood to Hollywood with partner/investor Jimmy Iovine.
