Provide daily support to our Boston office by anticipating and automating office needs. Be the face of our office when guests enter our space, greeting and assisting them as needed. Manage office administration, making sure our office is running smoothly and that we have the essentials for a productive working environment including coffee, snacks, and general office supplies. Maintain safe and clean office common areas that make employees proud to work in such as a great office; this includes tidying the kitchen and conference room areas, running the dishwasher, handling shipping and deliveries, receiving calls and voicemails for the main phone line etc. Manage relationships with vendors and building management to ensure that office equipment and facilities are serviced and working. Coordinate events such as all-company meetings, executive meetings and offsites, office lunches, team events, and holiday parties to enhance and spread our culture.

Own all aspects of office operations and inventory. That includes making sure we have the equipment, furniture, supplies, and snacks that we need to do our best work, plus managing office security and our Internet/phone systems. Create and establish office procedures and processes to ensure the company runs smoothly as we grow, including systems to track office inventory, manage conference rooms, and all corporate software subscriptions. Collaborate with leadership on company events and programming that ensure that Thrasio’s values are front and center. Welcome and assist all visitors to the office, whether they’re a candidate, an investor, or the mail carrier. Event planning for the company as a whole, from weekly all-hands meetings to holiday parties to our biannual trips when when all three offices get together in one city. Own new employee onboarding, partnering with hiring managers to make sure that all new hires have everything they need on Day One.

This person will report to directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the typical office management things like managing Google Drive, Confluence, Asana and various other on-line accounts, taking notes & keeping minutes, writing emails, arranging travel, organizing social events.  This person should be someone who is good at multitasking, organized, and can drive things to completion in a fast-paced environment.  In addition, we want this person to quickly become comfortable communicating and working with customers, lawyers, external consultants, executives at other firms, etc.  The person should be able to write well, present themselves well in a professional environment, and think on their feet.
