From building a data processing framework to help support 1B+ events to integrating new data pipelines, Drizly’s most critical decisions will rely on a scalable, well-managed foundation of data. The Senior Data Engineer is a critical member of the Engineering organization that works closely with Data Science and Business Intelligence, as well as product focused engineering teams. Work with different(marketing, analytics, development) teams across the organization and tackle pixel/tag implementation requests in an efficient way within a tag manager (TealiumIQ). Use browser web debugging tools to perform tag validation and QA. Perform Tagging audits/data integrity checks on a regular basis to have better control over the tags deployed across the sites. Document and maintain a copy of tagging requests from the different teams. Use mobile proxy tools like Charles/Fiddler to validate analytics tagging across mobile applications and mobile web tagging. Collaborate with different vendors(marketing, social media, affiliates, etc.) to understand different analytics implementation techniques and suggest implementation best practices based on well defined organization standards.

Revenue from partnerships with Diageo, Constellation, Gallo, etc. are crucial to driving Drizly’s rapid growth (50% YoY), and the strategic partnership analytics lead will drive our biggest decisions related to current and future partnerships. The role will be responsible for reporting on existing partnerships and collaborative campaigns, as well as test design, implementation, and measurement on new opportunities. This role will also build for the future, by helping Drizly move from a “service” to “productized” set of supplier offerings that scale outside of top tier holding companies to smaller brands.
