Job Summary:
The Writer, Executive and Strategic Communications Specialist IV is responsible for crafting a wide range of high-quality content on behalf of various company leaders at CareSource. They will develop and maintain corporate communications plans and deliverables, ensuring consistent and strategic storytelling across communication platforms and audiences to reinforce the organization's brand identity, vision, and culture.
Essential Functions:
- Create a diverse range of content for company leaders, including talking points, written internal communications, speeches/scripts, and related corporate narratives that effectively convey the organization's messaging and objectives.
- Capture and emulate the unique voice and style of multiple executives across various content formats, ensuring authenticity and alignment with their personal communication preferences.
- Conduct research and interviews with executives and subject matter experts to extract key insights and translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Serve as a trusted communications liaison, providing strategic recommendations on messaging, audience engagement, and communication opportunities while acting with discretion regarding confidential and proprietary materials.
- Work collaboratively with traditional and social media teams as well as other cross-functional teams to integrate executive messaging into broader content strategies and campaigns, ensuring alignment and coherence across all platforms.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and company developments to ensure that all communications are timely, relevant, and trustworthy.
- Maintain confidentiality and operate with the highest level of discretion and integrity, always protecting sensitive and confidential information.
- Perform regular, ongoing communication and work with the greater Corporate Communication function to develop internal and external communications plans as necessary.
- Perform any other job-related duties as requested.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field required
- Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education
- Seven (7) years of experience in corporate writing, communications, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of written work required
- Experience in crafting thought leadership content, keynote speeches, video scripts and compelling narratives required

Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate executive schedules.
- Up to 15% (occasional) travel based on the needs of the department may be required
Compensation Range:
$70,800.00 - $113,200.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
