Required Qualifications:
The salary range for this role is $238,500 to $392,500 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct outpatient care for patients with obesity and related conditions
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating behavioral, nutritional, pharmacologic, and bariatric surgical therapies
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioner, dietitians, and partnerships with psychologists and surgeons
- Provide 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per week
- Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities
- Stay current on advancements in obesity medicine and bariatric care

- MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
- ABOM Certification
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
