As the Head of Finance, reporting directly to the COO, you will be tasked with steering the financial future of a company poised for incredible growth. The stakes are high, and the impact is immense.

Here’s What You’ll Do:  

  • Work closely with the executive team and develop the company’s financial strategy, including long-range planning, scenario analysis, and capital allocation. 
  • Build an insightful and relevant financial operation, including ability to provide revenue growth optimization analysis, cash flow management, and cost optimization insights. 
  • Lead the company’s budgeting and forecasting, develop, and monitor company KPIs and run scenario planning to prepare the company for various market conditions or operational evolutions. 
  • Lead merger and acquisition financial due diligence and integration of potential acquisitions to accelerate growth.  Be able to support and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and new business models that could drive long-term value. 
  • Build and lead a strong finance team to handle FP&A, accounting, treasury, and compliance.  Be able to set an example of best-in-class cross-functional collaboration, working closely with product, engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure financial goals are aligned with business objectives - Be able to provide mentorship and develop the finance team, providing training and growth opportunities. 
  • Able to balance company velocity with risk mitigation by assessing financial and operational risk, putting I place appropriate risk mitigation strategies.  Ensure the company complies with financial regulations, partially in reporting and auditing standards if considering IPO-readiness.  

 What You Bring to the Table:  

  • 15-20 years of demonstrated relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in a lead role. 
  • 10 years of SaaS financial experience 
  • Proven track record of financial leadership in fast-growing, late-stage startups, ideally within the vertical SaaS space. 
  • Ability to translate financial information into insights for business and firm leadership, investor relations, and others as appropriate. 
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare clear, accurate, well-organized written and financial reports, and to communicate verbally in an effective and concise manner with diverse audiences. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor, including demonstrated success in developing collegial and consultative relationships with other colleagues. 
  • Strong track record of assessing and executing mergers, acquisitions, or strategic investments. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. 
  • Ability to carefully evaluate market opportunities and competitive threats within the industry vertical. 
  • The leader will ensure the right balance between growth and profitability. 
  • If an IPO is on the horizon, preparing the organization for the rigorous financial reporting, compliance, and transparency required.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $260,000 - $290,000 + bonus & equity.
