Videographer - HubSpot Academy

The mission of the HubSpot Academy team is to educate and inspire so that we, together, transform the way the world does business. The Academy team does this with the different forms of educational content that make up their content programs. These forms of content vary from blog posts, to step-by-step guides, all the way to certification courses. HubSpot Academy builds training for both lead generation and customer success.

The videographer will work directly with the Video Producer to plan out video shoots. They will set up and film all Academy video content. They will assist Academy Professors to record voiceover for tool walk-through videos. The ideal candidate has extensive production experience and some post production experience. They should have a knack for helping others, and a desire to drive bottom-line growth.

This position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and may require minimal travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work directly with video producer to plan Academy videos
• Prep video shoots
• Set up and shoot video content
• Direct on-camera talent
• Assist with interviewing on-camera talent
• Work directly with Academy professors to assist in recording voiceover
• Assist with live video broadcasts
• Occasionally assist video editor with post production
• Manage and upkeep all video equipment
• Ensure consistency throughout all Academy video content

IDEAL CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE:

• Passion for video production
• Extensive videography experience is required
• Experience with professional video production equipment including: Canon 5D MIII and MIV, Zoom H5 and H6 recorders, Kino Flo lighting
• Experience conducting on-camera interviews preferred
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
• Live video experience preferred
• A deep passion for learning
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• A careful attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Includes a shooting reel prior to interview
