Vice President of Enterprise Sales 

 

The Vice President of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for expanding new and existing relationships with our broker/consultant channel as well as with strategic opportunities within the large group employer market.  Main responsibilities include; managing a region of the country, building relationships with enterprise level consultants, generating RFPs specific to large enterprise opportunities, obtaining an annual sales goal and seeing the sales process through from start to finish, while engaging with key internal stakeholders to help close enterprise opportunities.  

Essential Duties

  • Exceed sales quota through leveraging network of enterprise level brokers, consultants and a large employer opportunities 

  • Manage complete sales process from lead generation through close while working in a team selling environment as the sales lead on enterprise opportunities 

  • Collaborate with the sales coordinator, marketing resources as well as implementation and other support teams to formulate customized proposals 

  • Understand and maintain knowledge of the Consumer Directed Health Account industry and regulatory environment including HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, Commuter and Transit, COBRA and Direct Billing

  • Deliver online product demonstrations and onsite meetings when applicable

  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

  • The ability to manage the logistics of travel throughout the country

  • Establish and attend meetings with new and existing relationships to further our partnership and generate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from these relationships

  • Participate in weekly sales and marketing development meetings

  • Participate in weekly enterprise sales team meeting to review pipelines and strategy planning 

  • Adherence to all security policies

General Duties

  • Responsible for strategic initiatives for building WEX Brand equity with brokers, consultants and targeted large employers 

  • Identify and research relevant HR contacts and generate overall interest in WEX

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders for closing new opportunities

  • Collaboration with marketing for strategic communications throughout assigned region

  • Maintain policy according to HIPAA

Experience

  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of achievement in the health benefits account industry with 6-8 years of experience 

  • High energy, well organized, team player that is able to lead cross-functional teams throughout the entire sales cycle

  • Demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals.

  • Self-driven ambitious professional with the desire to consistently meet and exceed assigned quotas.

  • Proven ability for prospecting and building relationships with health benefit brokers and consultants

  • Strong interpersonal skills and team skills, excellent relationship building skills. 

  • High emotional intelligence.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively present WEX’s Consumer Directed Health Account Products and Services with the goal of influencing brokers, consultants and senior level HR executives that the WEX solution is superior in the marketplace.

  • Excellent contract and proposal negotiation skills

  • Experience utilizing sales tools including Salesforce.com

  • Strong leadership experience

  • Travel as needed

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
