Managers at HubSpot provide vision and leadership; ensure alignment and prioritization across teams; and help their team members achieve their greatest potential as professionals. As we scale globally, we’re seeking to grow our Management & Leadership team to support the professional development of these managers themselves and ensure that they have the skills and tools necessary to be remarkable and effective in their roles.

The Trainer & Designer, Management & Leadership will be responsible for executing on a training strategy in line with HubSpot’s Management Principles. Reporting to the Vice President, Management & Leadership and in partnership with HubSpot executives and peers across the broader People Operations team, the trainer will conceive of and roll out engaging programs for managers designed to integrate easily into their day-to-day.

What you’ll do:

  • Design global programs that teach and reinforce the fundamental skills of people managers
  • Create communities of managers at HubSpot and establish a cadence of engagement through classroom training, peer learning, mentoring programs
  • Partner with HubSpot’s instructional design team to experiment with new modalities of learning delivery to achieve maximum engagement and retention of learnings
  • Lead and facilitate global classroom trainings to people managers across a range of tenures, regions, and functional areas
  • Constantly reflect on program effectiveness and synthesize learnings and progress to the broader organization

What we’re seeking:

  • A skilled trainer with expertise in conceiving of, designing, and delivering content in the realm of management and leadership
  • An entrepreneurial self-starter with experience building a learning and development curriculum from scratch; deep understanding of how to build on a business case, align stakeholders, and launch programs
  • An effective oral and written communicator who feels natural presenting and can command the attention of a diverse, experienced, and global audience
  • An agile problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and is comfortable experimenting and innovating new concepts and modalities to use in growing managers
  • A dedicated program manager who is passionate about growing managers and takes accountability for ensuring their success
