The Technology Business Analyst will research and analyze improvement opportunities for digital marketing properties, conduct workflow analysis, prepare recommendations, and facilitate the implementation of technology solutions that enhance customer engagement and marketing performance. This role is crucial in shaping the future of our digital marketing technology landscape and ensuring that our systems align with marketing objectives and customer experience goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Requirement gathering: Interpret and document business and functional requirements for digital marketing platforms, CMS, personalization tools, and analytics systems.

  • Workflow Analysis: Research and document issues involving campaign execution, content publishing, and marketing analytics workflows.

  • Solution Development: Analyze data and develop creative solutions for marketing technology; evaluate and recommend solutions aligned with marketing needs and best practices.

  • Process Implementation: Coordinate recommended process changes, enhancements, and product implementations, including test plans to ensure successful implementation.

  • System Mapping: Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to create detailed system maps illustrating data flows between marketing platforms, CRM, and analytics tools.

  • User Story Creation: Translate business and user requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories.

  • Design Facilitation: Facilitate design sessions with the project implementation team. Collaborates with HCD designers to improve the user experience of the product.

  • Acceptance Criteria Construction: Determine the acceptance testing framework and standards to assess completed projects.

  • Test Case Evaluation: Assist in translating User stories and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years+ of experience in business systems analysis or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.

  • In-depth understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies, and technological systems.

  • Strong familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools.

  • Understanding of SEO, GEO, AIO, personalization, and customer data platforms.

  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management principles.

  • Understanding of system design, analysis, and user testing best practice.

  • Experienced using business analysis tools and techniques.

  • Ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in translating complex business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Willingness to have decision-making authority, provide professional advice, and take a lead role in process or program execution.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with enterprise-level systems and applications.

Salary range is expected to be between

$90,160.00 USD - $167,440.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
