We’re looking for an experienced professional to manage Brightcove’s CDN integrations and CDN-related products. You’ll work with world class customers and an innovative product team to create delivery solutions that deliver high quality video experiences to end users around the globe.

This is a great opportunity to materially affect both Brightcove’s growth and our customers’ success. The CDN product manager is responsible for understanding customer needs and working with Brightcove engineering, support, and our CDN partners to ensure Brightcove’s products deliver best-in-class video performance, security, and cost.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the product roadmap for Brightcove’s CDN integrations in order to make our products more competitive, reliable and affordable.
  • Oversee the CDN customization process for Brightcove customers, including collaborating with the field, creating internal tools, and coordinating with CDN partners.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure quality and business performance of Brightcove CDN operations.
  • Manage CDN vendor relationships, including service requests, product updates, and contract negotiation
  • Research to evaluate emerging video delivery technologies (e.g., P2P) and their potential fit for Brightcove customers
  • Collaborate with engineering to define requirements related to CDN security, optimization, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with finance to analyze service costs and identify areas for improvement

About you

  • You have 2-4 years of experience working with technical teams creating online products and services
  • You can rapidly navigate the world of online data delivery, including CDN technology, caching, encryption and cloud storage.
  • You are at ease analyzing the fundamentals of a large-scale business, including modeling costs and experimenting with pricing strategies.
  • You have excellent organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities while continuing to make progress.
  • You communicate clearly and inspire confidence among executives, sales, and support.
