- Define and execute the vision and product strategy for lending solutions, including securities backed lines of credit (both third party and proprietary offerings), margin lending, mortgages and other lending products and services tailored to high-net-worth investors.
- Oversee the lifecycle of lending solutions, from ideation to launch, ensuring competitive differentiation.
- Build a team of field engagement and lending consultants to deliver outstanding sales and service support to LPL’s clients and end investors.
- Utilize resources (professional networks, conferences, data analytics) to stay updated on market trends to make informed decisions to keep LPL ahead of the competition.
- Develop and implement advisor adoption and growth strategies to expedite the rollout and expansion of LPL’s lending solutions to clients and end investors.
- Monitor product profitability, pricing strategies, and revenue growth opportunities.
- Guide the development of best-in-class service including web and mobile digital experiences for advisors and their end clients.
- Partner closely with internal partners (e.g., technology, operations, credit risk, treasury, money movement, marketing teams, field engagement teams) and external partners (e.g., lenders, banks, etc.) to drive product and service success.
- Ensure all products adhere to financial regulations and risk management policies.
- Become an enthusiastic champion for Lending Solutions and Banking and Lending more broadly. Share your passion and vision with your team and partners to build excitement, support and collaboration.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years in product management within financial services, with expertise in lending solutions for wealth management clients.
- Deep understanding of the lending industry, players, trends, technology and regulatory landscape.
- Track record of growing and scaling a lending business.
- Experience operating within wealth management environment and familiarity with the regulatory landscape.
- Proven ability to develop strategy, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver impactful outcomes.
- Skilled at making data-driven decisions based on customer insights, business performance, market analysis and financial modeling. Ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Adept at building highly collaborative partnerships with key internal and external partners, including lenders and banks. Experience leading vendor qualification, selection, and contracting process. Demonstrated ability to create alignment, momentum, and joint execution across companies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance culture
- Willingness to travel as necessary to LPL’s sites and to visit key partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
Pay Range:
$180,900-$301,500/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
