The Sr ServiceNow Engineer will architect, deploy, and manage ServiceNow solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and best practices in ITSM and ITIL.

Job Responsibilities
- Experience architecting, designing, deploying, and managing of ServiceNow
- Experienced within the ServiceNow CMDB (cloud based)
- Knowledge of ITSM, Service Catalogs, Change Control/Change Management, HAM, and SAM for large scale enterprise customers with large distributed business units or state agencies
- Integrating ServiceNow with other systems and mechanisms
- Maintaining and upgrading the platform, including user management and system configurations
- Identifying and resolving issues related to the platform through debugging &/or troubleshooting
- Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions to ensure successful implementation and efficiency
- Streamline documentation on system changes and configurations
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure overall quality of ServiceNow solutions
- Monitor systems stability to prevent service degradation or interruption. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Modify and/or customize the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Requests, Service Catalog while applying best practices
- Assist in delivering best practices for the Enterprise to include ITIL, Agile, PMBOK frameworks for delivering IT Services
- Create and enhance business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and automation scripts to improve service efficiency and automate tasks within ServiceNow.
Job Requirements
- Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or ServiceNow Certified System Engineer and/or Certified Implementation Specialist
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITOM & ITSM) and other platform capabilities.
- Knowledgeable in applying ITIL best practices.
- Implementing and maintaining secure ServiceNow solutions.
- Familiarity with different types of testing, including functional and security testing Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP and other integration mechanisms.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred certifications include Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist, or Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Government Community Cloud (GCC) experience a plus
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with Tanium a plus
- Experience with ServiceNow SecOps/Enterprise Security a plus
