About the role
As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll partner with government agencies, public sector stakeholders, and internal teams to design, implement, and support technical solutions that address complex operational and policy-driven challenges. Leveraging your strong analytical background and problem-solving skills, you’ll bridge the gap between technical capabilities and real-world business needs, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and impactful.

Please note this role can be located in Central and Western US States.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to understand client needs and design scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Leverage your functional and technical expertise to analyze requirements and ensure successful post sales deployment.
  • You are prepared and comfortable presenting in front of functional, technical and executive audiences
  • Translate complex business challenges into clear technical specifications and solution architectures.
  • Support proof-of-concept builds, demos, and technical presentations for clients.
  • Develop and optimize queries, scripts, and reports to ensure actionable insights.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-implementation support.
  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing across the organization.

What you'll bring

  • Degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; experience with ERP systems, budgeting tools and data retrieval processes an asset.
  • Experience with solution design, system integration, and technical pre-sales or implementation.
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and recommend efficient, scalable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging, clear, and impactful presentations and simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Previous pre-sales experience delivering product demos or presentations to government entities in the US market is a strong advantage.
  • A proactive, resourceful mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, MySQL.
