Sqrrl combines big data with data science and analytics to identify malicious and risky behavior within the overwhelming amount of data facing Security Operations Center analysts.

We are looking for someone to manage our team of data scientists and software engineers that create Sqrrl’s analytics and risk identification functions. The person in this role must be able to understand and effectively lead R&D activity and production software development and delivery. Prior experience with machine learning and data science would be a large plus.

You have:

• Small team leadership experience
• A drive to deliver results
• Substantial Java expertise
• Strong fundamental technical skills, including problem decomposition and analysis of engineering tradeoffs
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Four-year Computer Science degree or equivalent

Bonus points:

• Experience delivering software to enterprise users
• Previous startup experience
