We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test Intern with a passion for building test automation frameworks and tools. We build the frameworks that enable our fellow engineers to have confidence in their code and we are willing to train the right candidate. This position will report to the Senior Director of QA and/or other team members. 

For candidates that do not have housing within a commutable distance to our Norwalk corporate office, Datto provides low cost housing for the length of your internship/co-op.

Responsibilities Include:

• Code across a number of languages – Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.
• Write test scripts to ensure code quality/functionality
• Develop internal QA testing tools
• Work with QA team members to thoroughly test all portions of product UI, internal and external reporting and alerting, advanced product features as well as command-line capabilities

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Pursing B.S. Computer Science or related field (or 0-2 years of industry experience)
• Basic working knowledge of Linux and Windows
• Passion for finding problems with software (preferred)
• Enthusiasm for efficiency through automated processes (preferred)
• Experience with Selenium Python Bindings (preferred, this is not a Selenium IDE position)
• Experience with SCM; specifically GitHub (preferred, link to Github/BitBucket
  profile encouraged)
