Reporting to the Director of Vendor Operations and Enablement, you will collaborate closely with vendor WFM teams, internal operations, policy, quality, and product partners to implement scalable, data-informed workforce processes. This role blends long-term strategic planning with hands-on execution, supporting a fast-moving, high-growth environment and ensuring continuity, efficiency, and service quality across multiple BPO sites and lines of business.

You Will:

  • Build and operationalize workforce management programs across Customer Support and Moderation in a vendor-driven environment.
  • Own forecasting, capacity planning, and staffing alignment across BPO partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain models to anticipate demand based on volume trends, policy changes, and seasonal variation.
  • Establish vendor-facing standards for scheduling, adherence, shrinkage reporting, and real-time performance.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor workforce efficiency and forecast accuracy.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align workforce strategy with operational goals and business continuity planning.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in Workforce Management, including at least 3 years in vendor/BPO support or moderation environments.
  • Deep understanding of core WFM functions including forecasting, planning, scheduling, and shrinkage management.
  • Experience building scalable, data-driven WFM programs in a high-growth or ambiguous environment.
  • Proficiency in WFM tools and modeling platforms (e.g., NICE/IEX, Verint, Google Sheets/Excel).
  • Strong communication and cross-functional influence skills, especially with operations, vendors, and product stakeholders.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
