Role Description: Senior Technical Program Manager  


Role Purpose:  


Wasabi is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead engineering programs and go-to-market (GTM) launches from concept to release. This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure the successful development, deployment, and market introduction of products, features, and services. The Senior Technical Program Manager will develop and drive cross-functional plans, aligning engineering, product management, and GTM teams to meet organizational objectives. 


The role involves leading the planning and execution of engineering initiatives while ensuring seamless coordination across teams (Product, Development, Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing). The Senior Technical Program Manager will oversee resource allocation, track progress, and provide executive-level updates on readiness. They will drive strategic initiatives to deliver products on time and ensure successful market launches. 


Ideal candidates will have expertise in managing engineering programs, executing GTM strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for impactful launches. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. 


This role will report to the Manager of Program Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering projects and GTM launches from concept to release. 
  • Develop and execute plans for new product and feature introductions. 
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery of initiatives. 
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, sales, and marketing. 
  • Provide executive-level updates on program status, risks, and milestones. 
  • Drive continuous process improvement and refine best practices. 
  • Oversee post-launch product enhancements and releases. 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of program management experience, including leading engineering projects and new product introductions. 
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline required. 
  • Proven experience managing large-scale services and complex programs. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and cloud services (SaaS, IaaS, or similar). 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
