ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead deployment efforts. In this role you will work closely with the Operations & Deployment team to identify new technology, tools, and processes to streamline deployment of RADAR systems to stores.  You will take high level requirements from partner teams, architect solutions, and define features that the hardware and software teams can implement.  Your work will directly impact how we plan, validate, and execute store installations at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect scalable systems and workflows for deploying RADAR hardware in retail locations
  • Evaluate existing tools and processes to identify bottlenecks
  • Write requirements and functional specifications
  • Assess new technologies that enable RADAR to scale up the rate of store installation
  • Lead the development of algorithms for sensor placement and post-install measurements
  • Lead cross functional teams alongside a project manager
ABOUT YOU

Required:

  • You have a B.S. in Engineering or any equivalent technical discipline
  • You have experience with 3D mapping formats such as glTF or GIS
  • You are proficient with 3D drafting tools such as Blender, Revit or Rhino3D
  • You have experience processing LiDAR point cloud data
  • You are proficient with Python and data analysis tools
  • You have 5+ years of experience in systems engineering

Preferred:

  • You have experience with Computer Vision algorithms for photometric calibration
  • You have worked with wireless technologies such as RFID or UWB
  • You have experience using Cloud platforms such as GCP
  • You have understanding of spatial analytics and automated quality control processes

At RADAR, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $180,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors,  including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including: equity, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life and disability benefits, 401k plan,  flexible time off, and paid parental leave. The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
