As a Senior Software Engineer at Turbonomic, you have the opportunity to accelerate the delivery of new features and to improve the quality of our Hybrid Cloud Management Platform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing development, testing and optimizing new services running at scale in an agile development environment. You will join a world-class Engineering team that is working on and solving today and tomorrow's problems in areas such as Cloud Computing, Virtualization, SDN, Containers, and the Software Defined Data Center. You will design/build upcoming functionality around controlling cloud based application deployment. The goal is to assure the performance of the application running in hybrid cloud environment. As a member of a small R&D team, you will have the opportunity to make a massive impact and will be directly responsible for developing some of the most integral parts of the Turbonomic Platform that has already enabled over 1,700 customers to transform their businesses.

What we look for:

• Background in Go, Java or C++
• Background in cloud automation tools
• Background in software defined networking, service chaining, QoS management, traffic engineering
• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related with industry experience.
• Experience in one of these areas:
• (1) public cloud APIs for IaaS (AWS, Azure, Google, Openstack) or PaaS (Cloudfoundry, Openshift)
• (2) cloud-Native Landscape (for example: Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker, Deis)
• (3) software defined networking (for example: Nicira, Nuage, Cisco ACI)
