Senior Product Marketing Manager

About the Role

12twenty is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to build and lead a world-class
product marketing function. You’ll be the connective tissue between product, marketing, sales,
and customer success, owning how we interface with the market, launch new products, enable
our go-to-market teams, and tell compelling stories that resonate with universities and
employers alike.

You’ll operate at both strategic and executional levels, helping us scale our messaging, sharpen
our positioning, and turn our unique data and platform capabilities into powerful narratives that
drive adoption, pipeline, and customer value.

What You’ll Do

Positioning & Messaging
● Own and evolve the core messaging platform for 12twenty across segments
(universities, employers, alumni).
● Deeply understand the competitive landscape and create differentiated positioning.
● Translate product capabilities into clear, value-based messaging frameworks tailored to
ICPs and personas.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
● Build the GTM playbook for new product introductions (NPI), including alumni solutions,
AI features, and employer-focused offerings.
● Partner with product, CS, sales, and marketing to define launch goals, packaging, and
success metrics.
● Drive voice-of-customer efforts to shape roadmap and market-facing messaging.
● Work across marketing and sales to evolve our product-assisted approach on our jobs
network.

Sales & Customer Enablement
● Create high-impact enablement information (battlecards, playbooks, decks, competitive
talking points).
● Partner with sales and BDRs to study findings and improve conversion at every stage of
the funnel.
● Deliver training sessions that build confidence in the field and promote consistent
messaging.

Market & Customer Intelligence
● Maintain deep knowledge of customer needs, buying behavior, and decision criteria
across segments.
● Drive market segmentation, TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, and ICP and persona
development to guide strategy.
● Use research to uncover whitespace opportunities and shape strategic bets.

What Success Looks Like

● Company narrative is aligned, resonant, and backed by compelling customer insights.
● Unified, differentiated messaging that resonates and drives a wedge in the market is
adopted across marketing, sales, CS, and product.
● Consistent and strategic GTM process in place for all launches.
● GTM teams are confident and effective at using enablement tools you've built.
● Internal stakeholders see product marketing as a strategic driver of growth.

Who You Are

● 5–8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, ideally in multi-sided
platforms or HR/edtech.
● Proven track record of owning messaging, launching products, and enabling sales.
● A strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills who is equally strong at crafting
narratives and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
● Highly analytical, able to use data to shape decisions and drive alignment.
● Comfortable in ambiguity, able to build structure where none exists.
● Passionate about helping students, universities, and employers succeed.

Annual compensation range: Up to $180,000

The annual compensation range for this position is listed above. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on company compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. 

In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for equity. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), and paid time off.
