What You’ll Do: Develop and implement data science and machine learning solutions to analyze data for CarGurus. Duties include: scope, design, and implement machine learning projects; analyze data, design and implement data science or machine learning solutions; perform technical leadership and promote development of customer (CLV) models; coordinate with other data scientists contributing to data model; collaborate with members of team and support deployed models; communicate solutions to technical audience; collaborate with other data scientists, machine learning engineers, and business stakeholders to; collaborate with engineers to implement solutions in production; measure the impact of models and build A/B tests; design and modify algorithms such as Instant Market Value (IMV); design models to predict the probability of user or customer converting or churning); measure the impact of television and radio advertising on online advertising; and organize technical evaluations applicable to CarGurus by working with latest machine learning research tools and technologies. Multiple positions.

 

Who You Are:  Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Deep data analysis; Turning data into successful products; Statistical analysis and machine learning, including AI or ML forecasting; Deploying machine learning services into production; Python and SQL; and Natural language processing. Position also require experience involving: Management of Artificial intelligence or Machine Learning projects from strategy and prototyping to production for internal or external clients.
