Role overview
As a core member of the Corporate FP&A team, this person will be responsible for supporting our FP&A close & forecasting tools, processes and reporting deliverables. The person will also serve as dedicated System (Adaptive Insights) maintenance, upgrade and scaling support while also supporting Opex and Corporate financial consolidations in the data analyst capacity.
What you'll do
- Oversee the administration & maintenance of Adaptive Insights and the FP&A team's financial technology operations, processes, and related procedures.
- Scope system upgrades and collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting and broader FP&A organization to ensure alignment to internal and external Corporate reporting definitions and strategies.
- Support financial reporting and Corporate consolidation initiatives with an analytical mentality and high attention to detail.
- Create best practice reporting processes with large, unstructured data sets.
- Assist the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager with financial modeling and reporting for all cadenced and ad hoc FP&A deliverables.
- Assist FP&A management with analyses preparation, commentary, and presentation materials, as needed.
- Respond to ad hoc financial analyses, special projects, and other similar or related duties as required or requested.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related major required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally working closely with FP&A close & forecast reporting and Accounting knowledge base.
- Technical experience with Adaptive Planning, or similar FP&A P&L forecasting tool, required.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP, or similar, required.
- Advanced Excel and financial data modeling skills with large unstructured data sets.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, Non-GAAP and interpretation of financial statements.
- Consistently demonstrate behaviors that reflect initiative, intelligence, strong attention to detail, and integrity in striving for continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently.
