Your Role:

The Senior Director, Value, Access & Pricing (VAP) is a core member of the market access leadership team and will design, implement and support execution of the value proposition of Springworks products through market access channels. This individual will support designing the market access strategy for a targeted therapeutic area pricing strategy and communicating the value of Springworks products to core customer audiences, (payers, c suite, population-based decision makers, pharmacists, pathway developers, external thought leaders etc.). ​

Location Classification – Hybrid:

This role will be required to work onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) or more depending on business needs. #LI-Hybrid

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Design the market access and pricing strategy for a targeted therapeutic area and additional indications.
  • Lead a team of internal market access experts to support the expanding Springworks portfolio and potentially advise on business development
  • Build scalable, effective engagement strategies to inform and condition the market both pre and post launch to ensure our value proposition is understood and access hurdles will be removed to serve patients.
  • Conduct market research and tactic creation in partnership with Brand team to communicate strategic imperatives and optimize value of Springworks products
  • Design a value focused pricing strategy optimized for a targeted therapeutic area initial and future indications while considering financial impact and patient/ customer experience
  • Advise on all functions of market access and act as “hub” for other market access functions
  • Collaborate across all functions to ensure key partnerships with external customers and vendors
  • Engage with entities, customers that impact the availability of Springworks Products for patients
  • Interface with external organizations (vendors, payers, specialty pharmacies, PBMs, population based decision makers, etc.)
  • Plan, measure and report activity, milestones, launch readiness, post launch execution
  • Collaborate across the business both field and internal
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Role Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience required in rare disease or Oncology
  • 5+ years in internal Market access role
  • Launch experience required
  • Pricing experience preferred
  • Field experience preferred
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Experience in patient administered products (Part D, oral)
  • Experience working a collaborative, dynamic, accountable environment 
  • Expert in US market access environment with deep knowledge of recent policy changes, external product launches and current dynamics in Rare & Oncology

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $200,000 – $265,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
