The Opportunity
Workhuman is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Corporate Communications team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to advance their career in the fast-paced and ever-evolving field of corporate communications, with a focus on the audience of employees.
Reporting to the Manager, Global Internal Communications, the Internal Communications Senior Specialist supports the strategy, design, development, and management of Workhuman's global internal communications activities, reaching over 1000 employees across two continents.
Please note - this is a hybrid role requiring 2 days a week onsite in our BRAND NEW Framingham, MA headquarters.
What we can offer you:

  • An ability to have an immediate impact on the internal communications strategy and outcomes associated with the work
  • An opportunity to own the editorial calendar and create engaging written and visual material in support of a variety of company and department-initiated initiatives for core internal communication channels, which include but are not limited to Digital Signage, Emails, Slack/Teams chats, newsletters, Intranet posts
  • Collaboration with senior leadership to align communication strategies with business objectives.
  • The opportunity to work within a corporate communications function that oversees the authority and reputation of the brand and impact those strategic objectives and learn from skilled communicators with diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Serve as a known and trusted business partner, creating and executing communication plans for company and program-specific campaigns.
  • The possibility to create the cadence of reporting and measurement of channels and generate dashboards and report out successes and lessons learned


The Skills you will bring:

  • Experience with internal communications strategies and tactics
  • An exceptional communicator and writer who is highly organized, agile, and capable of managing a large volume of competing priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment
  • A deep understanding of the power of storytelling and effective communication
  • A confident presenter, comfortable with leading discussions across all levels of a matrixed organization
  • A proactive mindset, and an eagerness to learn
  • Knowledge and experience creating a variety of messages for different mediums and channels, both in visual and written forms


Achievements:

  • You have analyzed data and provided feedback to continuously improve communication strategies and methods, and Established feedback mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of internal communications.
  • You love staying current on trends in employee experience and internal communications and improving systems that help Internal Comms continue to scale its support at this fast-paced company
  • You have shown that you could embrace and enhance brand and editorial guidelines for internal content created across channels
  • You have been involved in a project that delivered worked closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, executive communications, external communications, and product, to ensure cohesive messaging.
