  • Develop Customer Segmentation Models: Create and implement customer segmentation models to enhance targeting, personalization, and conversion rates across the upper and mid-funnel customer journey.

  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Impact: Act as the primary growth owner, partnering closely with Product, Risk, Marketing, and Sales/Servicing teams to define processes and translate strategy into cohesive, actionable operational plans.

  • Performance Analysis & Insight Generation: Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to proactively surface critical insights and resolve systemic bottlenecks and drop-off points.

  • Oversee End-to-End Program Delivery: Lead complex projects from problem definition and strategic business case development through to implementation and post-launch review, refining strategies based on measurable outcomes.

Experience you’ll bring

  • EST/CST is preferred

  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, & Economics.

  • Professional Experience: 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in Growth, Business Analysis, or strategic consulting (or similar highly-analytical project-based environment), with a focus on optimizing digital & sales funnels, preferably within FinTech or financial services serving the Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) market.

  • Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with experience in synthesizing complex data sets and delivering strategic insights that clearly inform and guide senior stakeholders.

  • Technical Fluency: Proficiency in forecasting models, financial analysis tools, and data visualization concepts. Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into structured, executive-level presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint/ Google Slides) to drive alignment and decision-making.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Excellent cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Mindset: Highly analytical, organized, and systems-oriented; focused on execution and outcomes; proven ability to quickly synthesize information, develop structured hypotheses, and communicate executive-level recommendations.

  • Results: Proven track record of structuring, leading, and owning complex, ambiguous strategic projects from inception to delivery, and achieving measurable results in a high-growth setting.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
