Lovepop is the world's leading designer of pop-up 3D cards. We were introduced to America in 2015 on Shark Tank and have been on a rocket ship ride of growth ever since. We are a direct-to-consumer, omni-channel brand with presence across physical retail, online and a select group of retailers. We are looking to hire a full-time Senior Account to handle account reconciliation, financial analysis, plus a variety of other accounting and general commercial business tasks at our Boston, MA headquarters.
What you'll do here:
- Perform monthly reconciliations of financial statement accounts
- Assist with generating monthly financials, in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with inventory management, including FIFO reconciliations, and cut-off procedures
- Process payroll for salary and hourly employees on a bi-weekly basis
- Assist with generation of Sales Tax Filings
- Process accounts payable and ensure accurate classification on the financials
- Administration of software programs, including Stitch, Square and Quickbooks
- Investigate variances in actuals versus forecast and provide resolutionsIdentify areas for improvement and strive for efficiency
- Assist with cash management, including review of collections, and clearing account reconciliations
- Assist with tax return preparation and annual review process with outside audit team
- Perform ad-hoc analytical projects
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with a minimum of 3-5 years of previous accounting experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, preferably in the consumer space
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

- CPA preferred or plan for completion
