Role:

Are you an experienced security developer who is looking for a new challenge working with some of the most cutting-edge technologies like .Net Core, Azure, Angular 2/4, and Typescript? We’re looking for a seasoned security developer who can help design and implement security controls and remediate discovered vulnerabilities as we migrate and redesign our platform in a cloud-native manner for Azure.

Working with the security architect, the security software developer will be deeply involved in developing architecture, remediating vulnerabilities, and training other developers to do the same. The security developer will also be involved in determining and implementing methods to assure secure software quality, and for monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of security controls.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Security Architect to develop a company-wide software security strategy.
• Perform on-going code reviews to improve software security.
• Conduct peer code security reviews.
• Consult with team members on secure coding practices.
• Remediate identified vulnerabilities in application code.
• Troubleshoot and debug discovered security issues.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Help re-architect and implement Brainshark functionality in a secure and cloud-native manner in Azure.
• Participate in architecture meetings to collaboratively determine the best way to balance security and functional requirements for complex products.
• Help ensure that all code deliveries are properly monitored, measured and easy to troubleshoot.
• Participate in the Agile Scrum process and be prepared to deliver stories on time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, or related engineering field.
• Knowledge of C#/.net, JavaScript, Angular 2/4, Typescript, T-SQL.
• Proven experience as a software security engineer.
• Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state of the art capabilities for authentication, authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediations.
• Desire to mentor, teach and lead teams.
• Thorough knowledge of attack vectors and vulnerabilities that may be used to exploit software.
• Great attitude with a sense of humor.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Preferred:

• Experience working with an HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript front-end (ex:backbone, jsrender, requirejs, jquery).
• Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Design.
• Exposure to mobile development.
• Understanding of classic Visual Basic 6 and Classic ASP.
