Pfizer Andover seeks a Scientist for its non-regulated Discovery Bioanalytical group in PDM to support ligand-binding assay (LBA) bioanalysis for biotherapeutics and ADC projects. Key duties include developing LBA PK & PD assays, analyzing samples, reporting data, and instrument operation/maintenance. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in successfully executing LBA PK/PD assays with complex bioanalytical procedures using ELISA, MSD, and/or Gyrolab instrumentation. Independence, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn are essential. Responsibilities include assay development and qualification, technology development, study sample analysis, data processing, and adherence to scientific and ethical standards, including electronic documentation and peer review.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $77,100.00 to $128,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary. What you will Achieve
- Responsible for the development, qualification and implementation of PK/PD assays using ligand-binding assays in support of discovery (non-regulated) projects.
- Analyze rodent and non-human primate serum and plasma samples from non-regulated studies.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation and draw conclusions regarding progress and results of work, utilizing the data for appropriate decision making.
- Gather input from colleagues, literature, and additional resources to assist in project advancement.
- Work with group leads or other Discovery Bioanalytical team members and project team members to accomplish goals.
- Participate in technology development/implementation and continuous improvement initiatives to expand/enhance the group's capabilities.
- Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are carried out according to scientific and ethical standards including electronic documentation and peer review of data and reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have
- Qualified applicants hold an MS with 4 to 6 years or a BS with 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience, ideally in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise in development, characterization, and implementation of bioanalytical LBA assays utilizing various platforms (MSD, Gyrolab, ELISA) .
- Knowledge of biotherapeutic antibodies, fusion proteins, and/or ADCs.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and proven ability to generate high quality data against challenging timelines
- Ability to author technical documents such as data summary reports and analytical procedures.
- Strong communication and time management skills plus ability to effectively partner with colleagues in a complex, multi-discipline organizational model.
Nice to Have
- Experience with quantitative tissue bioanalysis and protein extraction methodologies.
- Experience with the use of LCMS for quantitation of biotherapeutics and/or proteins.
