Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to help us develop new capabilities and build tools that will help transform the way we work with our staff in the field. The ideal candidate will have experience building software integrated with Salesforce and be willing and able to work with Service Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Your initial project will be to help develop a product based on Field Service Lightning.
• Partner with Salesforce Administrator, software engineering staff, product management team, and external consultants to deliver on evolving business needs for sales, operations, finance, project management, and service teams
• Document changes and work within existing and evolving change-management practices
• Advise on and champion best practice: buy vs. build; click vs. code
• Evaluate potential and existing appExchange offerings versus capacity and timing to leverage native functionality or solutions developed in-house

Qualifications

• Experience using Visualforce, Apex, SFDX
• Experience building customized solutions that support business requirements
• Experience iterating over solutions: prototype, MVP, production-release and constant improvement
• Experience building Lightning apps and components
• Experience developing data integration/imports to/from salesforce
• Expertise writing test classes & building triggers, batch classes, invocable and future methods
• Expertise / awareness of declarative tools including visual flow, process builder, formula fields, roll up summary fields, approval processes, assignment rules, roles, profiles, & Salesforce sharing model
• Ability to assist with internal infrastructure efforts including change-management, creating & migrating test data, conducting unit and UAT testing.
• Drive to encourage scalability and reusability by leveraging custom settings, custom metadata, and invocable Apex and Flows.
• Must keep current on force.com platform practical knowledge and best-practices through all releases
• Mobile development experience a plus; Salesforce snap-ins / application extensions

Salesforce developer certification - prefer Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II; we will consider amassed Trailhead achievement and other relevant work.
